The last year of the Roaring 20s! This lovely filigree class ring features the emblem “M 29” on black enamel and white gold. What an amazing ring to wear as an ode to someone special with the initial M and perhaps born in the year this ring was made (1929), or simply wear as an amazing black and white retro ring celebrating a big year. Some interesting events during the year 1929 include:
- Wall Street crash of 1929 which ushered in the Great Depression. 
- The San Mateo bridge in San Francisco opens. At the time this was the longest bridge in the world. 
- The 1st Academy Awards are presented. 
- In NYC, MoMA opens to the public. 
- Martin Luther King Jr. is born.
